Find Your Perfect Ring Size!

An infographic showing ring sizes and their coordinating diameter in millimeters.

Not sure about your perfect ring size? Our guide below will help you find it easily!

How to Measure Your Ring Size

  1. Cut a strip of paper or a piece of string at least 120mm (4.5 inches) long.
  2. Wrap it around your finger where the ring will sit.
  3. Mark the point where the paper or string overlaps.
  4. Measure the length from the start to the mark with a ruler.
  5. Match the measurement to the ring size chart below.

Ring Size Chart

  • Size 4: 46.8 mm / 1 13/16 inches
  • Size 5: 49.3 mm / 1 15/16 inches
  • Size 6: 51.9 mm / 2 1/16 inches
  • Size 7: 54.4 mm / 2 1/8 inches
  • Size 8: 57.0 mm / 2 1/4 inches
  • Size 9: 59.5 mm / 2 5/16 inches
  • Size 10: 62.1 mm / 2 7/16 inches
  • Size 11: 64.6 mm / 2 9/16 inches

Ring Sizing for Different Countries

Different countries have different standards for ring sizing. For example:

  • US uses numerical sizes (e.g., size 6, size 7).
  • UK uses alphabetical sizes (e.g., size L, size M).
  • European sizes are typically measured in millimeters, corresponding to the internal circumference.

Tips for Accuracy

  • Measure your finger at the end of the day when it is largest.
  • Make sure your finger is at a normal body temperature – fingers can shrink when cold.
  • If your knuckle is larger, measure both the knuckle and the base of your finger and choose a size in between.
  • Rings that have a wider band will often fit tighter than rings with a thin band
